Description
Summary Objective:
To provide quality and efficient service to the trucking clients by ensuring productive and harmonious performance of the staff and crew towards the achievement of company goals and objective.
Duties and Task Performed:
In charge in the monitoring and supervision of the daily trip transaction and ensuring that personnel allocation is complete.
Ensure the trip details per unit are properly and completely fill-up by the driver and the trip documents are submitted and encoded within 24 hours.
In charge in monitoring and repairs and maintenance cost of vehicle and of regular reporting of the maintenance expense per vehicle to trucking head.
Authorized signatory of the fuel PO. See to it that refueling policy is consistently implemented. investigate erroneous entries in the kilometre reading and fuel entries.
coordinate and discuss to all concern the weekly trucking performance per vehicle and per client. in charge in the timely generation, submission and reporting of the weekly data base report.
Provides timely incident and CAPA report for all deviations in the trucking operations such as but not limited to low utilization, breakdown and shutdown, traffic violation and non-conformance in the trucking policies and guidelines, accident and other company infractions. See to it that CAPA is timely implemented and provide updated to management.
In charge in the monitoring and control of proper usage of major parts of the truck such as but not limited to tire, batteries and accessories. Provide regular report and analysis of it to the trucking head.
Spearheads regular operation and meeting with the drivers and helpers to update and address their concerns. Submit minutes of meeting to the trucking head.
Ensure employee discipline in maintained by consistently implementing the company policies. Investigates and make formal incident report and corresponding recommendations (NTE and NOR) on violations.
In charge in the driver's and helper's welfare and development. ensure the just implementation of rewards/consequence management programs.
in charge in the timely generation, submission and reporting of monthly management report such as but not limited to; Truck Utilization, Maintenance Report, Client Actual Trips and Forecast Inventory Report.
Job Specifications or Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree or equivalent to work experience related and applicable to the job.
Responsible in overseeing the activities of trucking operations (booking, billing, planning and delivery monitoring).
With excellent leadership skills.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Overall responsible in the planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, controlling and reporting the whole trucking operations.
Professional Skills:
Proficient in MS applications as such as but not limited to Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
With good knowledge in the database system and processes.
Proficient in both oral and written communication.
Good organizational skills.
With good knowledge in the preventive maintenance of the vehicles.
