Treasury Supervisor
Job Description
Responsible for monitoring the group's cash management, budget
projections/appropriations, and the accurate and timely submission of financial
statements for top management's reference.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Protect, secure, and control cash and cash equivalents to all business units.
Coordinates communicates and negotiates with banks for premium rates on
all bank transactions involving, but not limited to, deposits/withdrawal of
funds, telegraphic transfers, demand drafts, bills of exchange undertakings,
or other instruments. S
Submits reliable and timely cash position and ensures availability of funds to
support company requirements.
Oversee forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and funds
available for investment
Provide weekly/monthly cash flow forecast and recommends fundraising
whenever necessary.
Facilitates prompt opening and closing of Bank Accounts and preparation of
documents and other requirements and secures the most cost-effective rate
for bank charges and expenses.
Ensures that Treasury Services provided to internal and external customers
are responsive, timely, accurate, and reliable.
Develops and maintains a logical and efficient planning system within
Treasury Department that supports the company's vision, mission, and
objectives.
Develops and maintains a system of controls that measures actual
performance against standards/plans and identifies performance
improvement areas, and secures prompt and effective corrective action so
that standards/plans are achieved and continuous improvement is ensured.
Keep abreast with market trends and product developments. Lead initiatives
to onboard new tech advances that will enable a digitally agile Treasury.
Maintain all domestic and global banking relationships.
Lead in identifying risk, developing complex mitigation strategies
Maintain broker database for trade clearance and counterparty risk, as may
be needed
Performs related functions as required from time to time.
