The Role
As a Treasury Specialist, you will be responsible for managing high-cost deposits. You will also be responsible for growing the volume and P&L from assigned that impacts the market movement of traditional and non-traditional securities.
How you'll contribute
Maintains optimal relationships with existing clients and counterparties through courtesy calls.
Markets and distributes primary deals of SB Capital.
Manages and grows the volume and P&L from assigned that impact market movement of traditional and non-traditional securities.
Matches and verifies income reports against reports of MPR Finance.
Handles Peso and Dollar TD maturities and fresh placements of assigned accounts inclusive of pricing and acquiring disposition and communicating with the branch.
Prepares daily summaries of transactions of time deposits and fixed income securities.
Meets the volume and P&L requirements of Corporate Sales accounts based on client profile and historical business.
Responsible for the acquisition of new accounts through client calls.
Books fixed income transactions if any in Guava Treasury Systems and gets approval for breach of limits as needed.
What we're looking for
Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Finance/Accountancy/Banking
Must have at least 3 years of Sales Trader experience
Able to deal with varied personalities both inside and outside the organization.
Can make sound and correct independent decisions.
Must be eager to learn other aspects of the banking industry.
