The role is in-charge of the fund disbursements of the company. He is responsible for the preparation and scheduling of Vendor payments and verification of cleared disbursements against bank records. He or she is tasked to prepare and monitor disbursement reports and update General Accounting Unit for the cash disbursements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of Check Voucher and Check for the payment of cost and expenses as provided in the details of the Accounts Payable Vouchers and Expense Reports.
2. Release of check as payment of cost and expenses to Vendors.
3. Coordinate with Compliance and Asset Accounting Unit for the preparation of EWT Certificate and ensure that is acknowledged by the Vendor or its authorized representative prior to the release of the check payment.
4. Submit acknowledged EWT Certificate to Compliance and Asset Accounting Unit.
5. Prepare schedule of Vendor payments based on due dates and valid instructions and plot them to cash budgeting.
6. Check and verify clearing of released checks from passbooks and bank statements.
7. Preparation and update of Daily Outstanding Checks and submit to General Accounting.
8. Preparation and updating of Check Releases Report - prepared, released, and cleared checks and submit the same to Accounts Payable Unit.
9. Preparation of summaries and schedules necessary for the proper understanding of the transactions.
10. Coordinate with other departments or business units for any concerns or issues in the processing of request and payables.
11. Assist the Finance Department in ad hoc activities such as audit and review and other tasks that maybe assigned by Management.
