The Treasury Management Head shall be responsible for: Treasury Unit Management; Bank cash transaction Report Validation; Cash Flow Management; Collections Validation, and Project Financing
Job Description:
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Treasury Management Unit
Ensure that daily collections are accounted for and reported; Generate the Online Banking - Statement of Account to review and compare against bank transactions report
Review and sign-off the Daily Collection and bank transactions report
Ensure that unidentified collections are reported to stakeholders and lead them to resolve them immediately.
Prepare weekly Loan Collection Report. In-charge of pick-up of loan collections and updating of passbooks
Ensure that buyer PDCs are warehoused, Acknowledgment Forms are issued on time for each PDC received
Monitor quarterly all PDC warehoused against PDC in Cornerstone, and report findings to Finance Management Head
Review and sign-off the Daily Cash Position Report
Inform the Finance Management Group Head if there are any urgent payment requirements from other departments
Review checks and TopSheets prior to routing to Authorized Signatories
Coordinate closely with other departments to ensure that cash/payment requirements are met
Secure new bank accounts for new projects and immediately enroll in the Collection Payment Facility
Enrollment of new vendors in the Supplier Payment Facility.
In-charge of all fund transfers, bank cash transactions, and check release
Keep safe all bank documents
Suggest process improvement initiatives to the Finance Management Department Head
Perform any tasks as instructed by the Finance Management Head, as needed
Qualifications:
A. Education
BS Accountancy graduate
Certified Public Accountant
B. Working Experience
At least 5 years of experience as Head of Treasury in a medium to large-sized business
C. Skills and Abilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or other Accounting Software
Able to communicate well across all levels in the organization
