Responsible for supervising and coordinating day to day activities of transportation. Supervise workloads of subordinates, schedule, and tasks.
Manage and maintain all established databases relating to transport operation. Lead distribution activities including scheduling, routing, loading and delivery of consumer products. Accountable to oversee POD transaction and Collection. * Ensure proper execution and implementation of all policies procedures with regards to receiving, loading, dispatch, and delivery.

Utilize docks, warehouse layout, and route truck loading patterns that minimize loading time
Provide timely service to sales department while minimizing transport costs
Develop and motivate your team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
Ensure compliance of safety standards in transportation functions.
Ensure maintenance of vehicles in good running condition
Initiate cost efficiency measures to hit target Cost to Sales ratio.
Deliver effective change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impact
Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally
Responsible for & maintains positive employee, corporate and community relations along with appropriate interface with customer service, vendors & contractors
Ensure proper observance of dispatching schedule / requirements and procedure of cold chain items for provincial delivery.
Responsible for planning the deliveries for the day. Oversee the timely dispatch of stocks assigned to the delivery personnel.
Perform other functions that may be assigned.
