He / She must possess and apply detailed and technical product knowledge JOB DESCRIPTION: This role is responsible for managing Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Covid-19 portfolio to the assigned territory, achieving sales targets and growing the business. He / She must possess and apply detailed and technical product knowledge as well as thorough knowledge of client's business to introduce new products/services to clients and generate repeat sales of existing products. He / She is responsible for the local brand development within specific consumer channels. He / She must be able to motivate a trade team, leading them to achieve revenue forecasts. He / She must also gather customer feedback and information on competitor activities and market challenges and convey them to appropriate contacts within the organization so that an appropriate response to changing market conditions and customer demands are made. Direct Reports: 5 Trade Representatives Key Areas of Accountability: 1. Identify opportunities for growth, develop winning business cases including product positioning 2. Coordinate stakeholder and market needs to define, plan, and implement product launch and marketing strategies to end user and retail partners. 3. Develop, execute and monitor plans to meet established sales goals and objectives while utilizing the budget effectively 4.Establish, develop and expand customer base from the assigned channels who can benefit from Abbott Covid-19 product portfolio 5. Manage all aspects of the pre and post-launch product life cycle, including monitoring and reporting on the in-market activity, responding with tactical development and marketing activities to ensure continued profitability and growth 6. Develop and implement marketing communication and activities (Above the Line, Below the Line and digital) with the objective of increasing channel contribution to overall Covid-19 business. 7. Assist marketing and sales management in the development and implementation of new sales strategies, and tools for new market opportunities 8. Monitor performance against objectives and perform analysis on channel opportunities to develop customer and product forecasts 9. Monitor market, customer and competitor trends and advise management on methods to improve company competitiveness 10. Motivate high-performing trade team, and lead them to generate leads, hit or exceed revenue forecasts, and ultimately meet customer needs. 11. Provide technical expertise in all Covid-19 products Job Specification Knowledge & Experience: Fast learner and quickly adapts to changing territory needs Demonstrated proactiveness and excellent customer service Can handle multi tasks like territory sales management, technical support and multiple product promotion. Must have an excellent time management skills Competencies required: Strong influencing and negotiation skills Strong communication and presentation skills Must be able to work in a team environment with good organizational skills, Strategic thinking and analytical skills Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Medical technology Biology, Chemistry, Laboratory science or equivalent. 3-4 year experience in upstream and downstream, full product lifecycle of OTC drugs or Rx pharmaceuticals Pleasing personality with good interpersonal skills and service-minded. Aggressive, willing to take on stretch targets Proven excellence in both written and oral communication in Filipino and English Knowledge in Diagnostic machines/equipment set up and/or maintenance will be an advantage.
