Interact with and provide operational support and guidance on trade compliance, including customs compliance and export controls matters to clients' internal stakeholders
Scope includes:
Review documentation and information relating to the import/export of goods, to facilitate customs clearance
Execute and monitor import and export flows and activities, to ensure compliance with all relevant import/export, customs, sanctions, laws and regulations
Work with stakeholders, including clients, freight forwarders, customs brokers, etc., to ensure documentary accuracy and improve overall data quality
Work with product and classification specialists to determine and maintain tariff classifications, and share the tariff codes with Customs brokers
Perform assessment and post-entry audits, to ensure trade compliance and operations management activities are executed properly
Document procedures and work instructions, and implement procedures to increase customs compliance
Ensure recordkeeping is in line with relevant policies and procedures
Prepare and provide reports

Experience coordinating projects and/or working with internal and external stakeholders to extract information and documentation necessary for import/export and customs compliance purposes
Good grasp of tariff classifications, free trade agreements (FTAs), customs clearance processes
Have an outward-looking, people-oriented personality with great communication skills as well as an analytical mind to work effectively in a team
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
