ROLE PURPOSE:
Leads the Testing and Commissioning team of multi-discipline engineers and managers in carrying out testing and commissioning works of new system projects and other identified reliability projects and integrates their outputs to ensure seamless and timely handover of capex projects to end-user / proponent.
Reviews and approves the Test & Commissioning Plans / Manuals submitted by the contractor and ensures that commissioning plan is adhered during and up to guarantee run test period for system and non-system projects to meet the requirement of the end-user and the Contract.
Design, develops commissioning manuals, test plans and procedures including risk identification and mitigation related to project commissioning.
Leads in implementing capability building programs for Testing & Commissioning and Quality Assurance Team and other stakeholder to enhance the competency of the organization in ensuring quality of the Company's projects.
Leads QAD team in providing QA / testing and commissioning support to the company's subsidiaries through alignment of development of programs.
Reviews and analyze trends in quality related issues and recommends solutions to address and prevent future recurrence.
Leads in resource management planning (proper manpower allocation) for projects across the enterprise.
Develops systems and procedures to ensure that Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests including related materials inspection and validation of such testing and materials supplied by the Company's contractors are conducted and accepted based on the approved procedures, standards and specifications
Acts as key resource person for Procurement and Supply Chain Department in evaluating supplier and contractor performance in terms of quality which is one of the basis for accreditation and/or reaccreditation of suppliers, vendor and contractor.
To work closely with Key Account Managers to ensure correct charging of services.
Provides management with independent assessment during investigation of incidents.
Required to present output/s of said findings to leadership team of other Groups and where appropriate to PMG Mancom.
