About the Test Solution Architect Role:
The Test Solution Architect role serves as an integral member of a global Agile Product Development team to deliver the company's technology products to our external or internal clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop test automation strategy, roadmap and objectives per organisational needs
Lead the expansion of the automation capabilities as it relates to current manual regression test suites that supplement and optimise the manual testing currently supporting the project teams
Stand as the automation test authority and spearhead all activities related to test automation deliverables across all parameters, both functional and non-functional including performance, security, usability, and others
Provide technical leadership and strategic direction to a team of test automation engineers
Extend your wide-reaching scope, impact, and influence beyond the confines of the testing organisation and across the entire product organisation, such as product owners, development architects, software engineers, and application development leadership
To succeed in this Test Solution Architect role, you will lead the planning and execution of the team's test automation strategy to develop and integrate high quality functional and non-functional tests for products built on the latest software architecture patterns and platforms.
Key Requirements:
At least eight years' experience working in test automation team, with at least two years as an automation architect or lead
Expert in automation frameworks such as NUnit, TestNG, SpecFlow and Selenium
Experience with building and managing automation frameworks including test strategy, planning and execution
Experience of working in an Agile-Scrum environment - close partnership with application development teams project stakeholders (Product Owners, Project Managers, business), preferably with experience working collaboratively with colleagues from different geographic areas
Ability to improve testing processes and techniques on a project. Ability to evaluate and run proof of concept with new tools, processes and apply practices to level-up automation maturity
