We are looking to recruit an experienced Software Test Automation Engineer to join a diverse and innovative team responsible for developing and maintaining systems that underpin our Privileged Access Management (PAM) processes and controls.
In this role you will be part of product development team working closely with software engineers and product owners ensuring the quality of project deliverables, managing defects, and help in maintaining and improving test automation process.
You will join our Privileged Access Management (PAM) team, which is part of the broader Identity and Cyber Security department within the wider Technology division. The department is focused on preparing for, protecting against and responding to Cyber Security events.
Core Responsibilities:
Working with DevOps/test team and product owners analyzing test requirements, creating test plan, test cases in a structured and reusable format, automated test scripts for new features and requirements
Come up with effective and efficient test approach to ensure full test coverage
Timely execution of system tests, integration tests, regression tests, and performance tests in accordance with agreed test cases and test plans
Identity effective framework that can adapt on business needs
Develop automation script and framework to support web applications and APIs
Drive automation framework and tests for new applications as well as enhancement and maintenance of test scripts for existing applications
Collaborate with different stakeholders to deliver enhancements, changes, and project-related requirements
Help identify and address operational improvement, including elimination of manual processes, improving documentation, and advancing capabilities in addressing platform issues and defects.
Reporting bugs accurately and concisely, and timely follow up to resolution
Accurate and timely reporting of test progress, risks & issues
Maintaining test documents such as but not limited to Test scenarios, test data, test evidence in JIRA and Confluence
Continuous innovation thinking bringing in best practices and efficiency including but not limited to automation
Core Requirements:
3 to 5 years relevant work experience in software application testing, including
Manual Functional, Regression, and API testing
Automation Testing (at least 2 years)
Testing in an Agile and Scrum framework
Technology Experience:
Test Automation using Selenium Java and RestAssured Frameworks
At least 1 year experience in Java development
IntelliJ IDE or any IDE for automation scripting
Well versed with various version control systems like Git, SVN etc
Knowledge of continuous integration concepts and tool like Bamboo, Jenkins, etc
Worked on the following technology is an advantage:
TestNG
Cucumber
Maven or Gradle
UNIX
Splunk
SQL
Postman or JMeter
JIRA and X-ray
Confluence
Ability to develop complex automated flows using suitable data structures, conditions, loops etc applying strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Exposure to Agile development approach
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong client service orientation
Strong sense of ownership with a passion for testing and delivering quality software
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently as well as a team player
Capable of working with ambiguity and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to obtain clarity on expectations
Capability to effectively relate how IT solutions contribute to business results
Highly self-motivated, flexible, adaptable and results oriented
Willing to work in different time zones, if required
