The Role
As a Test Functional Senior Analyst, you are responsible for performing automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose. You will help in planning, coordinating, creating, and executing test cases while maintaining regular updates on the testing progress. You will review specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. You will assist the Test Specialist in creating detailed, comprehensive & well-structured test cases and plans. And you will identify, record, document & track bugs.
How you'll contribute
Assist in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases to ensure overall test strategy and test coverage are considered using different testing methodologies.
Develops and updates test artifacts in an efficient and timely manner according to SBC standards and procedures.
Execute test plans and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications to ensure that all the objectives are met, and the solution works as expected
Report, monitor, and respond in a timely manner to the issues/defects reported in the Defect Tracking Tool to provide real-time updates on the test results or until the issues/defects are resolved/closed
Understand the user stories/use cases/requirements and their acceptance criteria to ensure the validity of the corresponding test cases.
Recommend improvements to existing policies/procedures and assist in the implementation of these improvements.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology & Services, Banking, Financial Services, or related courses.
With at least 5 years of experience; preferably in Agile Testing
Preferably a Certified Tester
Knowledge of Software Testing Lifecycle process and Testing Methodologies.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
Excellent attention to detail to identify even the most well-hidden bugs.
Good Documentation skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of core banking.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Team player and Good time-management skills
