Responsibilities
Coordinates testing for new system implementation, enhancement, and production support projects with the development and QA teams.
Ensures applications operate in accordance with stated specifications
Examines and correctly translates use cases, scenarios, models, diagrams, and requirements into these formats. Develops test plans, scenarios, and test cases using this information in a thorough, precise manner.
Exhibits a thorough knowledge of the testing that is necessary in accordance with business standards.
Determines the work, creates estimates for testing assignments, runs the test, documents the outcomes, and so forth.
Uses a known defect management tool to report and retest defects.
Requirements
Experience in developing software for business applications for at least 3 years.
Highly skilled in the process of designing software, understanding business needs for software projects, and creating software test strategies.
Adequate expertise with testing techniques
Expertise with technologies such as Jira, HPQC, and other testing tools
Having preferably experience with automation testing
Capability to improve the QA procedure
Skilled with Microsoft Applications
Capability to improve the QA process.
Must be willing to work night shifts, dayshifts, or other schedules as needed for the project, which is in US Eastern Time.
Until further notice, the candidate must have a reliable internet connection and operate entirely from home.
