Alstom Philippines is expanding pool of multi-talented individuals. We are looking for experienced and versatile Testing & Commissioning Engineer.
This opportunity will let you to work closely not only with other engineers but also cross functionally with variety of other departments. You can expect to deliver in a collaborative environment while building and bringing world class products into construction.
The successful candidate is responsible for preparing and executing the testing activities in support to one or several Projects and/or Programs and Bids if required.
Office Location: Lot 1, President Carlos P. Garcia Ave. (C5 Extension) San Dionisio, Sucat, Parañaque City, Philippines
Responsibilities
Prepares and executes testing activities in support to one or several Projects and / or Programs initiatives or bids, for technologies of railway signalling under the direction of his / her hierarchy and in conformance with Alstom Transport policies and standards, applicable regulations and professional standards (including EHS - Environment, Health & Safety)
Executes of specific Testing activities according the testing procedure / documentation and Sub-system Leader a/o Project Commissioning instruction.
Could supports Verification & Validation team and perform test on platform / in factory as per request.
Complies with EHS procedures.
Performs activities with quality, especially Test reporting.
Uses the correct tools and equipment to perform the electrical and mechanical test activities. Ensures the equipment and tools in their care.
Uses and maintain PPE defined by EHS;
Alerts the hieratical superiors by any risk identified during the testing activities, and especially alerts any hieratical manager (Sub-System Leader, PrCOM, PM, RC TCM, ...) if any EHS risk is identify.
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical or any related Engineering courses.
License is an advantage but is not required
Must have at least five (5) years relevant experience specializing in Testing and Commissioning works
Knowledge of railway system is a plus
Strong technical skills
Efficient handling of resources related to functional responsibilities
Effective planning, organizational, and communication skills
Proficient in verbal and written communications
