Job Description - Overview:
The Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for the creation of Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases and Defect lifecycle management. The person is responsible for:
 Test automation using Selenium
 Participate in regular scrum meetings, planning and story pointing sessions, design and Defect Triaging
 Define End to End Test Cases
 Define Automated Test Plans, Regression Test Suites including UI, back end and Integrations using Web and API automation.
Key Job Functions and Duties:
 Design and develop test automation scripts using test automation frameworks
 Investigate issues in applications and work with developers to identify solutions
 Establish and monitor governance for the automated testing practice
 Lead enablement of test automation to the different projects and Business Units
General skills:
 At least 2 years of experience as an Automation Tester or similar role
 Basic programming experience
 Excellent understanding of testing practices and principles
 Knowledge in automation testing tools such as Selenium, FitNesse, Postman, etc.
 Knowledge of APIs and databases
 Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile practices
 Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
Reporting structure:
The Test automation Engineer will report to the head of the BPA Department
