WHAT IS A TELEPHONE / SWITCHBOARD OPERATOR Our awesome client, a leading Furniture manufacturing company based in AU is looking for a Switchboard Operator to be part of their team. WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Answer all incoming calls, provide relevant information to the caller, and transfer the call to the appropriate source if required Relay voicemails and other messages to the proper location within the organisation, which may entail noting the contact details and any relevant information of the person who called and providing it to the individual/department Provide the highest level of customer service to all callers and deliver assistance in a polite, clear, and calm manner in all circumstances Operating switchboard/phone systems WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR Experience in handling telephone operations 1+ year experience in a contact centre environment - an advantage! Experience with taking inbound calls Experience working with internal teams/departments Strong communication skills
