 Job Description
Do you have a background in developing technical information, drawings and diagrams for products?  Are you experienced in writing instructions for technical manuals?
 
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Conduct technical desktop publishing activities associated with creating technical publications including technical illustrations, installation instructions/manuals/handbooks
Conduct technical writing activities in conjunction with Product Manager
Prepare and adapt engineering drawings and supplied model data using CAD software incorporating into technical instructions and manuals
The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate the following:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience creating technical publications for manufacturing or consumer/industrial products
Strong technical aptitude with appliances
Proficiency adapting technical drawings, engineering drawings and diagrams using CAD
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience in writing technical documentation
You have strong technical aptitude, with strong planning and self-organisation skills.
This is not a full Instruction manual design role but more of a re-write and illustrations job. 
Requirements:
·         With 3 - 4 years’ work experience in a similar role as Technical Writer in the manufacturing industry
·         Preferably a college graduate with a background in engineering or industrial science to be able to understand and explain highly technical information
·         Available to work between 6am – 6pm (Philippines time)
·         Must have excellent written skills that can translate technical information for readers and consumers to easily understand
·         Must be detail oriented and able to create instructions for others to follow
·         Work well in a team environment.
·         Strong work ethic contributes to a very professional attitude towards all aspects of work. 
 
 
Technology Requirements 
·         A dedicated quiet workspace at home and with a good internet connection (minimum 25mbs)
·         A desktop or laptop computer (3rd generation or higher) at least i3 or equivalent processor at least 8 GB ram and windows 7 and above or MAC OSX operating system
·         Headset with extended microphone, a noise canceling headset is a must.
·         High- definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution
 
 
Compensation Package & Benefits
Your monthly salary inclusive of all entitlements will be (Base Pay: P20,000 – P30,000 )
This amount includes

Bonuses
13th Month Pay (We Pay this bonus in increments every salary pay out. It is calculated into your 1-month salary into 24. 
 
Discretionary Bonus
Annual pay increases and also any one-off bonuses, will be at the discretion of EasyShed management.

If worked, freelancer shall be paid 200% of his/her daily rate for – (Daily Rate x 200%) 
 
WORKING HOURS: 
Ordinary hours of work (rostered in 8hour shifts, excluding lunch breaks) may be worked between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm (Sydney timezone), Monday to Sunday.
