XenRecruiting is a tightknit team making a mammoth impact within Xendit by facilitating 1.5X year on year headcount growth for the past 3 years, even in the midst of a global pandemic!
Some of the challenges facing our recruiting team that this role will have a direct impact on overcoming include:
- Sourcing exceptional talent that fits our unique culture (we hire for culture above all else, but have a very high bar for performance limiting the pool of suitable talent)
- Regionally distributed workforce; we have offices across the SEA region which allow us to source local talent, but may not have any brand recognition locally. We also have to tailor the recruiting approach for each market.
- Payments aren't super sexy when compared to name brand unicorns (our recruiting competitors), so we have to work extra hard for that attractive name
Despite all of this, our small recruiting team has already delivered outsized impact to the org by hiring everyone we know! :D With about 300 teammates, all of whom are passionate about culture and willing to lend a hand, you'll find plenty of teams eager for your help and willing to work closely with you to land that perfect candidate.
Mission
To leverage a wide pool of talent across the SEA market, to boost our technical talent pipelines across a number of roles, boasting strong understanding of technical requirements, skillsets and where to find them in market.
Bonus points if you're an excellent conversationalist, and have full lifecycle experience, including engaging with senior technical talent and convincing candidates to join Xendit through alignment of shared vision/goals.
Responsibilities:
Core:
Collaborate closely with hiring managers and teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of role/candidate requirements so that you can source high quality talent more effectively than the hiring manager
Source top quality talent through our partner online job platforms, and your own network
Lead initiatives to improve employer branding and wider community engagement increase brand awareness
Share your expertise with the recruiting team, and learn from them about the nuances of recruiting at Xendit. As a team, aim to reach a highly scalable, accurate and efficient recruiting org, leveraging best practice and data driven insights
Welcoming demeanor; post covid, this role will assist in trial day coordination, welcoming candidates to the office etc. and further strengthening candidate relations
Own our candidate database and CRM engagement strategy
Do whatever it takes to make Xendit succeed
If you have experience/interest the role may expand to:
Shortlist and screen candidates who meet our high bar
Conduct in-depth interviews
Present an accurate and attractive position/team/company to candidates, delivering the best possible candidate experience and ensuring their interest in working at Xendit
Work up to participating in the offer negotiation process
You may be a good fit if:
You have proven experience in sourcing for executive positions for tech teams, i.e. VP of Product and Engineering Director
You have at least 3+ years with a technical sourcing specialization in SEA
You have a strong (overachieving) KPI record in your previous sourcing roles; particularly with regards to placement rates and managing a large number of concurrent open roles
Strong technical market knowledge of SEA, including but not limited to Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Malaysia
You thrive on autonomy and have proven you can push towards a goal by yourself
You communicate clearly across teams, individuals and different cultures
Experience using Greenhouse
You aren't afraid of hard work, and create a natural sense of urgency in your approach to work
It would be amazing if you also have:
Have managed and run Candidate CRM campaigns (especially via the Greenhouse platform)
Full lifecycle recruiting experience
Worked at either:
4+ years in an Top Tier International, US or Singapore-based Executive Search Firm
3+ years in a high growth tech startup, as a full lifecycle recruiter for Senior Tech Talent
