THE ROLE
Our client is looking for a Technical Support Engineer who will help them drive their goals through excellent support in providing backup and disaster recovery software solutions.
SCHEDULE: TBD - Eastern Daylight Time, follows Philippine holidays
POSITION TYPE: Full Time
WORK ARRANGEMENT: Permanent Work from Home set-up
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist partners with all their support needs. This includes tickets, email, phone support, and remote sessions, both solo and with partners
Help the fully managed team to monitor and remediate issues with partner backups
Serve as the product expert and champion for the partners
Make sure partners' experiences are always excellent
Communicate customer trends and feedback to drive improvements to documentation, tooling, product, and process
Help to make the company the best place to work
QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's degree in the related field is an advantage
Technical aptitude and familiarity with basic Windows troubleshooting and simple commands like Ping, how to install and uninstall programs, etc.
Good English communication skills with proper spelling and grammar
Ability to follow and convey instructions
Problem-solver and can troubleshoot and extrapolate to thrive in the role
Ability to learn by doing and must have the desire to improve
Able to do the hard tasks and move fast
Experience in a multi-client environment
Ability to function in an autonomous environment-independent worker, self-directed
