Job Requirements:
Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, particularly in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, or Civil Engineering
Licensed Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, or Civil Engineer
At least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer in the oil/gas industry or a related field is an advantage
Experience in project and contractor management
Knowledge of LPG system components (e.g., tanks, piping, regulators, vaporizers, valves, etc.)
Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (NFPA 58, Fire Code of the Philippines, etc.)
BOSH and COSH Safety Training certification
Must know how to drive and possess a valid driver's license with restriction codes B, B1, and B2
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and 3D drafting
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Willingness to travel to various client sites as needed
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for all PLPI-owned LPG installation facilities (commercial and industrial) to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime
Coordinate directly with customers/accounts to schedule inspection and maintenance activities
Conduct regular inspections of all PLPI-owned LPG installations to identify and assess maintenance or repair needs, including LPG tanks, regulators, valves, vaporizers, meters, piping systems, and other associated equipment, to ensure safe and efficient operations
Generate inspection reports, checklists, and assessments, and provide recommendations to the Technical Services Manager (TSM)
Prepare cost estimates and develop the scope of work based on inspection findings, and secure approval from the TSM
Create Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and coordinate with the Material Services and Procurement Group (MSPG) to conduct tenders for maintenance activities
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and update the asset management database
Provide technical recommendations for system upgrades, repairs, and component replacements
Coordinate with external service providers for specialized repairs, replacements, or maintenance activities
Assist PLPI Dealers with repairs or maintenance activities for their customers
Manage and supervise all maintenance activities performed by contractors, ensuring compliance with PLPI standards, HSSE policies, and statutory requirements
Ensure maintenance activities are implemented cost-effectively and within schedule
Ensure optimum utilization of LPG assets and resources
Coordinate with PLPI-accredited LPG suppliers for parts needed in maintenance, repair, or replacement activities
Respond promptly to emergency calls and customer complaints, ensuring 24/7 availability when required
Check the completeness of all submitted documents from maintenance contractors for payment processing
Conduct performance evaluations of maintenance contractors
Assist the Technical Services Manager in the planning, preparation, and control of annual CAPEX/OPEX budgets
Submit monthly updates and reports to the TSM
Perform other duties as may be assigned by the TSM
