Description
Sales Engineer prepares and delivers technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology
Work Experience: With a minimum of 1 year of sales experience in the retail industry
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Learn the technical details concerning how our software works and what problems it solves for our clients.
2. Create new sales and marketing strategies that target customers.
3. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
4. Identify areas where we can improve customer satisfaction and repeat business, then communicate the issues and possible solutions to upper management.
5. Help clients solve problems with installed equipment.
6. Establishing new, and maintaining new relationships with customers
7. Analyzing cost and sales.
8. Performs a variety of tasks in assisting the sales and marketing departments to meet the corporate objectives.
9. Help clients solve problems with installed equipment.
10. Accomplishes sales documentation and requirements (but not limited to) purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory.
11. Coordinates and processes events/ exhibits, modules, and other marketing requirements.
12. Identifies potential business opportunities.
13. Studies industry and market trends and prepares competitors' analysis and marketing study and awareness.
14. Set and achieve sales goals and quotas on a monthly and quarterly basis.
15. Fieldworks to meet potential and current clients and stores.
16. Performs other tasks as may be assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
• Computer literate.
• Proven sales skills.
• Specialized in technologically and scientifically advanced products.
• Supervisory skills.
• Responsible, organized, and presentable.
• Ability to comprehend and explain complex engineering concepts in simple, effective terms.
