Main Responsibilities:
 Maintaining, upgrading, optimising and ensuring maximum uptime of live, pre-production and development environments
 Troubleshooting application, network, system and database issues
 Technical escalation point for the support team, including an on-call basis for customer support
 Participating in the implementation of new system and infrastructure projects
 Assisting the development team with tasks that require optimisation/modifications to the current
infrastructure
 Willingness to adopt a work-to-finish attitude, recognizing that in order to deliver projects on time
working longer hours may at times be required
Skills and Experience:
The Technical Operations Engineer must demonstrate excellent systems management, diagnostic and
support skills in all areas of infrastructure. The candidate must be conversant in networking, server and
storage technologies and well understanding of n-tier architectures. He or she has to have a broad range
of skills and must be keen to acquire skills and experience in new areas of technology.
Knowledge and experience in any of the areas would be beneficial:
 Database administration (Redis, MySQL)
 Web Server (Nginx)
 Cloud based experience (Spring Cloud)
 Core IT knowledge (NTP, proxy, mail, DNS, etc...)
 Source control system (GIT)
 Configuration management and automation tools
 Scripting languages (Node.js + npm)
 Relevant understanding of IT security
 Fluency in English and Chinese
