The Technical Business Process Specialist is primarily accountable in assessing, analyzing, and executing critical business initiatives relating to the Investments Operations and Finance function. Reporting to the Service Delivery Function Head of Investments, the role aims to deliver on the group's key priorities particularly relating to GWAM's Global Optimization Transformation Program and function-initiated efficiency projects. The business analyst will also communicate, negotiate, and manage the scope of the assigned projects to ensure that expectations are set concerning the project's deliverables, timeline, and costs. You obsess about customers, listen, engage and act for their benefit You think big, with curiosity to discover ways to useyouragile mindset and enable business outcomes You thrive in teams,and enjoygettingthingsdone together You take ownership and build solutions, focusing on what matters You do what is right, work with integrity and speakup You share your humanity,helping usbuild a diverse and inclusive work environment for everyone We are looking for someone with: Bachelor's degree in Management, Economics, Business, Finance, Computer Science or Engineering; advanced degree (MBA or other) is a plus In-depth understanding of the various aspects of the Investment business operations Working experience on applying lean six sigma practices Professional experience documenting processes and practices, in accepted project methodology artifacts, while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects and deadlines Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills and experience with database applications, preferred Intermediate skills in using MS Visio or other process modeling applications Intermediate skills in MS Project and SharePoint or other project management applications Strong oral/written communication skills required to interact with senior managers and representatives from other Divisions and functional departments Demonstrable experience in a similar role Logical, structured approach to performance monitoring and tuning Ability to work closely with the business to understand requirements and craft solutions Logical, structured approach (e.g. to prioritizing work, problem analysis and resolution) Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle Presents complex ideas clearly, with an ability to manage the complexities of executing significant change and influence individuals across business boundaries to achieve objectives. Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel (i.e. mastery of excel formulas and pivot tables is a must; VBA is a plus). Proficient in MS Office suite including Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Project. Flexible on shift and overtime may be required to meet business deadlines On the job you will: Analyze and document current ("As-Is") processes and/or data flows and value stream maps Capture and document future state ("To-Be") processes and/or data flows per business requirements Define the actions steps to transform processes from As-Is state to To-Be state, determine key milestones and estimate timelines to deliver Assist in managing resources assigned to project with regards to project efforts; create project plans and project schedules; provide project management leadership from inception through deployment Create and maintain related key documentations from the GWAM Business Optimization Playbook to ensure appropriate transfer of knowledge such as data maps, process flow diagrams, KPIs (TAT and Quality), Service Level Agreements, Risk Assessments, Exceptions use cases, and capacity calculation to ensure effective and sustainable transitions of work Develop project reporting and communicate strategic direction, significant milestones, challenges, and results Plan and coordinate new processes' user acceptance testing, staging, and implementation Build relationships within internal and 3rd party teams, and successfully work across departments to coordinate and communicate with various groups and key players.
