The technical author engages with a range of stakeholders to determine the appropriate type of end-user documentation required for 1 or more airline products to ensure that customers can successfully use a product and its functionality. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree holder or equivalent work experience with a formal qualification in Technical Communication. At least 2-years' experience in technical writing preferably from an Airline industry. Knowledge of Amadeus airline product is a plus. MadCap Flare - good working knowledge. Topic-based writing and single-sourcing experience. Hands on experience with HTML, XML, CSS - highly desirable. Experience in writing user manuals and technical manuals. Must be able to understand and explain the technology Strong strategic and analytical skills, strong technical skills Strong command of the Business English both verbal and written. Can communicate effectively with all levels in the organizations Amenable to work on a hybrid schedule. Office location is in Taguig City. Open to handle shifting schedule; mostly midshift Scope : Engage with a range of stakeholders to determine the appropriate type of end-user documentation required for 1 or more airline products Ensure that customers can successfully use a product and its functionality to fulfill their business needs. Takes full ownership of the assigned documentation projects and designs, develops, and delivers the required deliverables, such as user guides, online help, knowledge articles, and onscreen text, on time and to the required quality. Provide mentoring and guidance to peers if needed Work with R&D to provide input for onscreen text to facilitate product adoption. Interpret complex technical documentation, like specs and user stories, into clear and concise user-focused language. Create task-based instructions or conceptual information that you'll deliver in an online help system, user guide, or other delivery output. Use MadCap Flare to build innovative and informative documentation. Publish the content making sure it conforms with department standards and quality guidelines. Use established communication channels to promote content to customers. Continue to enhance the documentation as the product evolves.
