Key Responsibilities:
1. Track progress of grant acquisition efforts in accordance with GAM Business Plan, WVDF's Policies, Systems, and Strategies on grant acquisition;
Provided support to GAM team in grants tracking using offline & online tools & systems(Horizon), monitoring progress of submitted proposals; updating GAM's online grant repository on WeConnect; documenting GAM team's experiences & lessons learned from donor engagement, proposal development, & other resource generation activities.
2. Assist the GAM team in developing its Strategic Partnership Management Plan and Strategy;
Assist GAM team in partnership management by following up on and maintaining effective, productive, and harmonious relationships with partners informally though virtual meetings, phone calls, e-mails, & social visits (if allowed); and/or formally, by developing partnership agreements that partners review periodically for any updates.
3. Provide support to the Proposal Development Team (PDT) in Project Design & Proposal Development Activities
Assisted GAM Manager in coordinating with the GAM Working Group on the Go/NoGo decision-making process for grants worth USD500,000 and above.
Provide support to GAM team in coordinating with proposal development team (PDT)members & other WVDF support teams whose participation is required during conduct of PDT meetings / workshops during proposal preparation to ensure proposal submission on or before application deadline;
