ROLE SUMMARY:
Our Client is a world leading travel provider for the Airline industry and is seeking a dynamic and effective Team Leader.
In this multifaceted role, you'll not only supervise and manage your team but also actively engage in problem-solving and ticket handling to ensure the highest level of team support and customer satisfaction. As the primary contact point for all team members, you must have excellent communication skills and an ability to act proactively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership and Team Management:
Supervise, manage, and inspire team members daily, setting SMART objectives to guide their progress and development.
Serve as the primary contact point for the team, demonstrating excellent communication skills and proactive problem-solving.
Provide effective & positive coaching and constructive feedback, including disciplinary actions when necessary.
Operational Excellence:
Actively participate in handling escalated supervisory calls and resolving complex tickets, setting a high standard for customer interaction and problem resolution.
Oversee and ensure adherence to service level agreements and performance metrics.
Contribute to strategy development and process improvements for enhanced team performance.
Prepare and analyze reports on team performance, customer feedback and service issues to identify trends and areas for improvement
Administrative and Compliance Duties:
Generate and present daily, weekly, and monthly reports to both internal and external clients.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Facilitate team huddles, one-on-one sessions to mentor and develop team members, presentations, and activities to engage and motivate team members.
Team Development:
Assist in training, and onboarding new team members.
Ability to mentor and motivate a team.
Champion the company's core values and programs to create a vibrant, inclusive work environment.
ABOUT YOU:
At least three (3) years of experience in the travel industry in a supervisory or team leader role.
Proficient in travel industry regulations, policies, best practices, and other related CRM platforms
Experienced in using ZenDesk and handling invoice validation.
Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with strong problem-solving skills.
Proactive and team-oriented with excellent communication skills, adaptable, and a quick learner.
Willing to work in a hybrid setup with necessary equipment and workspace.
Willing to perform other related duties as assigned
