Taxation Accountant
Tax accountants handle the ins and outs of taxes for individuals, businesses and government agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy/Management Accounting or equivalent.
● Certified Public Accountant is preferred but not necessary
● With 1-3 years' work experience in Philippine taxation.
● Efficient in verbal and written English communications skills
● Knowledge of Philippine Accounting Framework
● High attention to detail
● Computer literate
● Amenable to work
● Can start ASAP
KEY ROLES
● Annual Accounts Preparations
● Business Activity Statement Preparations and Lodgement
● Business Activity Statement Reconciliation
● Preparation of tax returns for individual, company, trust and partnership
● Preparing workpapers and query sheets for clients to review.
● Bank Reconciliation (Xero, QBO, QNE)
● A/R and A/P Processing
● Short Term Cash Flows
● Payroll Processing
● Payroll Tax
● Superannuation
● Workcover
● PAYG Annual Summary Lodgement
● Business Activity Statement Preparations and Lodgement
● Month end closing - processing of general journals, accruals, standing journals and general ledger adjustments.
● Financial Statements and Management Reports
● Annual Accounts Preparations
● Ad-hoc tasks as required
