Tax Supervisor / Senior Tax Accountant
Supervise daily, monthly, quarterly and annual compliance through recording, documentation, filing, and payment of all taxes of LCMC and selected subsidiaries.
Update management every month on the status of tax cases, assessments, and examinations based on Letter of Authority or Tax Verification of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Local Government Units (LGUs) examinations.
Conduct tax planning and study, regularly check tax remedies available for tax avoidance and cost-savings.
Attend to the audit of BIR for all internal revenue taxes and tax refund claims, LGUs for business tax audits, as well as internal and external auditors.
Conduct research on new tax issuances, regulations, rulings, and pronouncements, and discuss items applicable to the company with all affected employees.
Recommend improvements or changes in the accounting system for the implementation of new tax issuances, regulations, rulings, and pronouncements.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of subordinates.
Monitor the preparation of the SLSP, QAP, SAWT, and Annual Alpha lists
General accounting procedures and other ad hoc tasks as required
Qualifications:
Graduate of BS Accountancy
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
At least 2 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role involving tax advisory and/or compliance
