Decathlon Philippines is looking for a TAX SPECIALIST who is:

Responsibilities
You are responsible of the tax reporting and compliance functions that includes but not limited to:
Advise regarding tax topics concerning daily business and during projects regarding tax accounting, direct and indirect taxes
Ensure fiscal vigilance: fiscal and legal updates, jurisprudence and transmission of the new changes to the local finance team
Prepare (independently or with the help of consultants) the tax declarations required by the local tax authorities
Calculation of current and deferred taxes for local GAAP and IFRS-purposes
Implementation of tax law changes guidelines in the business cycle
Responsible for the forecast of the tax burden
Support Tax audits (internal/external)
Participate in the internal control function of the company (eg implement a tax control management system)
Identify and limit the tax risk related to the business
Contribute to monthly and yearly accounting closing process
Ensure that all documentation reported in the tax returns are compliant to tax requirements
Check and monitor physical and digital documents subject to tax audit
Qualifications
At least 2 years experience in auditing firm, preferably from Big 4 firms
Ability to focus, to be accurate & to be detail-oriented
Interest and aptitude for Tax and related activities
Has strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and under pressure.
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
