Elev8 Holdings Inc. is currently looking for an experienced tax specialist who is up to the challenge of pioneering our tax planning process.
Purpose of the position:
Protects the financial assets of the organization by ensuring tax compliance, audit assistance, and tax correspondences.
Required Experience:
Must have at least 3 years of experience as a tax specialist or supervisory role with a total of 5 years of experience in the accounting department.
Accountabilities:
Management and Control
1. Implements controls for tax compliance
2. Proposes policies and process improvements to address risks.
Tax Planning and Risk Management
1. Provides plan on invoice compliance, and future business strategy to deal
with zero rated transactions.
2. Sets the schedule to comply with deadlines audit and regulatory
deadlines.
3.Identify areas of tax risks/exposures as well as areas for tax saving and
efficiencies.
Tax Compliance
1. Ensures completeness of files/documents subject for reporting to BIR and
ensures it reflects the accurate performance of the company.
2. Ensures timely application and compliance of documentations for VAT
Refund.
3. Preparation, filing and coordination of payments of all applicable taxes of
the company (e.g. expanded withholding tax, withholding tax on
compensation, Fringe Benefit tax, VAT, Corporate Income Tax)
4. Assist with tax compliance deadlines, extensions and audits
5. Coordinates and Monitors Compensation and Benefits on Accuracy of Tax
Deductions.
6 . Ensures that the company is in compliance with the payroll tax rules.
7. Assists in the finalization of the Year-End Alpha Listing.
People Development
1. Assesses own performance.
2. Attends to development programs.
