• Computation and filing of company's tax returns which includes but not limited to: Value Added Tax, Expanded Withholding Tax, Withholding Tax on Compensation, Creditable Withholding Tax, Income Tax, Documentary Stamp Tax, etc.
• Preparation of request for payments related to payments of taxes
• Research complex tax issues and compute for possible tax exposure
• Conduct internal tax assessments and handle company's tax issues with the BIR
• Coordinate and monitor pending tax issues handled by company's tax consultants
• Participate in company's tax planning and budgeting
• Provide documents and assistance to company's internal and external auditors
• Perform monthly and annual closing activities related to taxes
• Prepare journal entries and ensure accuracy of general and subsidiary ledgers related to taxes
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
• Perform other duties related to taxes as required
