Vertaccount Inc. is looking for a Tax Manager that has US Tax Experience to support our US client.

Responsibilities:
Manage the delivery of a full range of tax services for multiple companies and individuals, including consultation on the tax implications of their operations
Oversee tax-related projects and review federal and multi-state tax returns, working with a variety of entities such as corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts across various industries
Review data and resolve technical tax issues, responding to inquiries from the IRS and other authorities
Provide supervision, guidance, and coaching to, staff, and/or senior accounting professionals
Produce and review tax documents in a timely manner, ensuring client deliverables meet expectations and deadlines
Offer solutions through analysis and innovative thinking
Participate in and offer leadership to firm initiatives, committees, and business development activities
Other related projects and research as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting preferred; CPA certification required
US tax returns for corporate and partnership background experience, required
6+ years of experience of progressive tax consulting experience in public accounting
Passionate about a career in public accounting and committed to ongoing professional growth
Prior experience coaching and training staff and/or senior accounting professionals
High attention to detail and follow-through with excellent organizational skills
Ability to switch from proactive, independent work to collaborative, integrated team member as the task or project demands
Proficient in time management with an emphasis on the importance of meeting deadlines while managing multiple projects and clients
High level of professionalism, particularly in interactions with clients
Strong communication and analytical skills
Flexibility to adapt to the firm- and client-specific practices
Solid technical background, including individual, partnership, and corporate tax laws and principles
Proficient in Microsoft applications
