About the Tax Manager Role:
In this essential role, your prime responsibility is to report and assist the Financial Controller on all tax matters related to the organisation. This role will also provide advisory services and training.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that all tax returns are filed accurately and timely in accordance with the government tax regulations of the BIR and LGU
Provide advice and information to involved departments within the organisation on tax requirements, procedures, and compliance
Conduct periodic tax compliance review
Communicate with the tax regulator and/or tax consultant on queries and concerns of the company
To succeed in this Tax Manager role, you will need to keep track of new tax issuances and tax reform plans of the government and evaluates the impact to the business to guide the management in planning and in decision-making.
Key Requirements:
Must be a CPA
At least five years of professional experience in tax reporting, handling of tax audit and tax assessments
Preferably with two years of work experience in the tax compliance group of any of the Big 4 accounting firms
With extensive exposure to Philippine Tax rules and regulations and understanding its impact to the company's business
Familiar with the application of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)
