TAX COMPLIANCE OFFICER
 
Specific Work Description / Duties and Responsibilities :
Reviews various reportorial requirements such as those for BIR, BOI, BOC, PSA, MGB, EITI, and LGU
Periodically coordinates with each accounting specialist relative to his/her corresponding task.
Periodically coordinates with applicable gov't agencies as to the validity and completeness of the company's compliances;
Propose procedures, standards, controls in the scope of compliance reporting that are known to be beneficial;
Coordinates with external agencies for various audit and reports verification;
Other related task as may be assigned by direct superior or top management from time to time.
Minimum Educational Requirement / Qualification :
BS Accountancy or Any accounting related courses
CPA is an advantage but not required
Skills / Training Needed :
Process and detail-oriented
Knowledge of any accounting software
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Ability to communicate well - both oral and written.
Very good understanding of Tax Laws, Rules, Regulations of government agencies (BIR, PEZA, BOI, LGU) and Reporting Deadline
Critical and analytical skills
