DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Financial Analyst
1. Assists in performing comprehensive review and analysis of financial statements including but not limited to the following:
a. Reports significant increases & decreases of accounts.
b. Checks accuracy and completeness of information contained in the financial statements.
c. Computes financial ratios and other relevant information used in financial analysis.
d. Provides recommendations for improvement based on analytical review of data.
2. Submits recommendations and proposals for fiscal related improvements to business practices.
3. Ensures compliance to LGC policies and procedures.
B. Tax Specialist
1. Assists in checking accuracy and in conducting initial review of tax returns prior to submission and final review/approval of the CFO/ODC.
2. Assists in monitoring each LGC unit to ensure compliance to applicable tax laws and BIR filing deadlines.
3. Maintains up to date and complete records of BIR filed tax returns supported with applicable attachments of each LGC unit.
4. Regularly checks the BIR website or any other source of information for new updates and developments regarding tax matters and relays such to the CFO/ODC for review and application.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in BS Accountancy or its equivalent.
Preferably CPA
Knowledgeable in office and administrative procedures and practices.
Proficiency in MS Word & Excel
Must be detailed oriented
