Description
JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for the accurate calculation and accounting of taxes, which include both national and local taxes and preparation of returns including supporting documents.
Provides assistance in the preparation of financial statements for statutory compliance.
JOB SCOPE
Analyze, report, and review adjustments, deductions, and credits to keep taxes to a minimum
Ensure reports are submitted accordingly to scheduled deadlines
Ensure audit risks are identified and comply with the company's policies and guidelines
Prepares draft financial statements for regulatory reporting
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two (2) years-experience in preparing tax returns for a company including supporting documents
Experience in local government tax
1 year audit experience (financial statement preparation)
Oracle knowledge can be gained in about three (3) months of actual exposure
Knowledge in BIR rulings and regulations
Knowledge of internal control
LICENSE/S REQUIRED
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
