Position Summary:
The Senior Tax Analyst will be part of a larger shared service team that will assist the US tax department with tax compliance, consulting, and accounting. The role will primarily be responsible for the preparation, review, and timely filing of U.S. federal and state returns, including Form 1120 and Form 5471 filings. He/She will report directly to Tax Manager here in Philippines.
Major Responsibilities:
Prepare and review U.S. federal pro forma and consolidated returns by obtaining and analyzing applicable financial data and completing required forms.
Prepare and review U.S. federal compliance for foreign companies, including Forms 5471 and 8858.
Prepare and review state and local income and franchise tax returns by obtaining and analyzing applicable financial data, preparing state allocation and apportionment schedules, and completing required forms.
Prepare and review calculation of quarterly tax estimates for U.S. federal, state, and local and franchise tax purposes.
Assist in collecting and analyzing financial data for purposes of calculating the quarterly and year-end income tax provisions.
Initiate and assist in the implementation of departmental process improvements.

Required Education / Experience / Skills:
Certified Public Accountant with 1-3 years of experience in handling International (U.S.) Taxation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Highly competent in written and verbal communication of financial information and tax law to both accounting and non-accounting personnel.
Demonstrated ability to interact and work cooperatively with peers and supervisors within and outside of the department.
Able to work independently and handle Team to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames and specifications.
Experience with Big 4 experience a plus.
Experience with SAP or Oracle Systems a plus.
Experience with tax compliance software (Corptax), tax research software, and HFM (Hyperion) software and related "retrieve" a plus.
