Job Description:
Tax Manager - Responsible for developing policies and implementation for tax compliance by BLAP, SPICA and all foreign principals.
Develop policies and strategies to ensure that all taxpayers in the organization are tax compliance.
Acts as TAX CALENDAR OF THE CO. by coordinating closely with all the accountants in the company for accurate and timely filing of tax return of all principals and corporate accounts.
Attends to tax inquiries of clients.
Responsible in the filing of applications with International Tax Affairs Divisions relative to payments of dividends to foreign shareholders and for non-resident foreign vendors or contractors.
Coordinates with General and Liner Accounting teams relative to the proper documentation of transactions.
Identifies potential tax exposures or red flags and propose solutions.
Monitors legislative or regulatory changes, updates and pending changes tax regulations that would affect the business and ensures appropriate implementation to avoid any penalties due to ignorance or any missed out new regulation
Manages and mentors the team if necessary.
Review tax returns quarterly and annually.
Project Logistics Accounting Manager - Responsible for the accurate reporting of monthly income of the team. Responsible for AR and AP management.
Job Qualification:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Extensive corporate tax knowledge
Strong accounting, analytical and research skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Familiarity of local reporting requirements
Strong organization and interpersonal skills
Experience in the preparation of Accounting reports
