Role:
Manages the tax compliance of the Company including the planning, accounting, filing, and reporting; gathers information for the purpose of satisfying tax requirements at all levels of jurisdiction.
What you'll do:
Prepare, file and ensures payment of various taxes to the Bureau of Internal Revenue
Ensures that all taxes are uploaded and reconciled with the books
Prepare application of BIR Permits, VAT Refunds including Tax Audit Requirements
Has relevant experience with Transfer Pricing Compliance
Keeps abreast with relevant updates from the Bureau and other relevant government agencies
Deliver needed tax reports accurately and promptly reviewed
Initiates and implements process improvements to sustain/increase quality of work, realise efficiencies and/or make the processes more effective.
Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization as a means to achieving individual and team goals
Exercise fiduciary oversight over all scope of responsibility.
Performs ad hoc duties as needed to ensure business continuity
We're looking for someone who:
1-3 years of experience in Taxation with preference to small company/start-up, entrepreneurial enterprises
Demonstrated attention to detail, time management skills, ability to prioritize, and adapt to change
Excellent oral communication and organizational skills
Desire to be a self-starter who will see opportunities to add value beyond an assignment and will run projects through to completion
Critical thinking skills and ability to modify procedures or resources to fit the needs of the task or situation
Willingness to perform under pressure when deadlines call for swift action
Capable of learning and recalling important job functions and processes that may occur infrequently
Ability to multitask without sacrificing accuracy
Collaborative and effective in working with different leadership styles and a variety of individuals within the organization
Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information
