Summary:
The Global Talent Development and Learning Operations Supervisor is responsible for working closely with the onshore COE and Divisional Talent Teams to manage the administration and logistics of learning & talent development programs across RELX globally and to provide Talent Development reporting. He/she will supervise and manage the performance of Global Learning, Talent and Development Coordinators.
Accountabilities:
Responsible for the overall Service Delivery of the Global, Learning Talent and Development team in Manila. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion, coordinates work activities with other supervisors.
Oversees the team's organizational training support strategy and manage the relationship with onshore Talent Partners and other stakeholders.
Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and the local business plan; business unit plans are also taken into consideration. Receives guidance and oversight from manager.
Requires understanding and application of operational procedures and practices within own area. Uses practice and precedent to resolve day-to-day problems. Identifies and selects solutions through the application of acquired (technical) experience and is guided by precedents.
Partners with the Talent Development CoE to coordinate the annual needs analysis and demand planning exercise.
Monitors the progress and implementation of learning programs, special projects and other LTD work; ensuring that any risks to quality and efficiency are mitigated timely, putting long term action plans in place.
Finds ways to improve the efficiency, productivity and work quality of the team by analyzing business needs, team processes, customer feedback and best practices from other areas on a regular basis. Sets standards for high performance to ensure that performance expectations are met, if not exceeded. Understands how the team relates to other closely related teams to improve efficiency of own team.
Impacts the level of service and the team's ability to meet quality, volume, and timeliness objectives within their area Guided by local business needs and established practices.
Handles escalations in a timely manner; resolves conflicts through positive and professional means. Uses tact and diplomacy to exchange information and address sensitive issues.
Creates and maintains a work environment that promotes operational excellence, continuous improvement, customer experience and employee engagement.
Supports employee development by identifying and developing them based on current and future business objectives. Responsible for creating individualized training and development plan that addresses organizational and individual employee needs. Trains team members and provides input to employee performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any field
3-5 years of experience managing a Learning or Training Team preferably in a BPO or Shared Services environment, able to manage multiple lines of businesses
Highly analytical and can drive Root Cause Analysis formulation and execution of solutions for issues impacting efficiency, quality of work and customer experience
Excellent interpersonal skills. Can develop relationship with stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Has a growth mindset. Can work with the team closely as they develop the right skills and proficiency. An advocate for continuous improvement who will set high standards for performance and has developed evaluation and validation standards to assess quality of work
Must be in current role for 1 year (for internal candidate only)

Must not have any Attendance and Punctuality issues in the past 12 months (for internal candidate only)
