The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) role is accountable for lead generation, creating and managing saved searches and taking actions that drive applicant flow across high-volume roles, for both current openings and constantly pipelining for future positions. The TAS role is aligned to work within the USA, potentially other countries as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work on USA based requisitions, potentially other countries, as assigned and understand target profiles. Build/follow a plan to drive applicant traffic to postings
Understands and utilizes Employee Value Proposition (EVP) in "selling" the UnitedHealth Group (UHG) opportunity to candidates, acts as a brand ambassador in all electronic communications. Utilize provided messaging templates, including selling points (as outlined in posting or provided by recruiter) when communicating with potential candidates
Utilize GoodCV Supply & Demand to gather market and competitive intelligence, attach report to requisition in TalentSource
Create or utilize provided bit.ly links with Google Analytics URL Builder to track sources of traffic
Ensures talent pools are rich by driving traffic to postings and sourcing for assigned requisitions, using database mining, job portals, social networks, referrals and internet sourcing
Generate leads and track in TalentSource, mapping to appropriate Talent Groups and pipelines
As part of sourcing, thoroughly mine the Taleo data base for candidates and for leads (e.g., references.)
Generate leads utilizing tools such as job boards, LinkedIn, networking, et cetera and map lead to TalentSource. Utilize saved searches in Taleo, TalentSource, job portals, LinkedIn, etc. to constantly monitor for new leads
Maintain exceptional partnerships with Recruiters in the USA (and other assigned countries) by documenting activities as prescribed in the process, providing email updates and attending meetings as applicable
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources or other relevant field
Excellent written communication skills
Technically savvy, strong aptitude to learning technology and using internet based systems
Moderate level of proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
On-the-job Training or work experience in Taleo or other recruitment system/process
