Job Summary
Avid Technology is looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic talent acquisition professional to join our global recruiting team as a Sourcing Associate focused on the Americas region. This is a terrific opportunity for someone interested in career in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources to join a leading media and entertainment technology organization.
Responsibilities and Duties
Partner with Americas TA team and hiring managers on openings and sourcing strategies
Review requisitions and appropriately disposition candidates using our applicant tracking system Workday Recruiter
Update and maintain candidate tracking and reporting
Use social media, Avid tools to promote our employer brand
Attract active and passive job seekers who will increase the diversity within Avid's employee demographics
Use LinkedIn to create projects and build talent pool
Creatively source qualified candidates, and initiate contact through networking, cold calling, and following through on leads provided by colleagues
Build a substantial network and pipeline of talent for frequently filled positions
Screen resumes to identify top-tier candidates and disposition those who do not meet requirements
Coordinate interview process between candidates, TA Partners and internal interview team
Maintain communication with candidates throughout full recruitment lifecycle
Participate in staffing meetings; provide regular candidate pipeline updates and recommend process improvements as needed
Assist with other HR and office activities, as needed
Shift is 4pm to 1am
Qualifications and Skills
1-2 years of sourcing experience
Experience with Workday Recruiter is a plus
Proven success sourcing though LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards and with direct sourcing methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is required
Experience sourcing for a variety of roles and functions is a plus
High level of professionalism and ability to learn and accurately represent Avid brand
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven team player and creative problem solver
Superior attention to detail, responsiveness and complete ownership of the process
Flexibility, sense of urgency, openness to change and ability to multi-task are essential
BS/BA degree in Human Resources, Communication, Business, Technologies or related field
Proficiency in MS Office Products such as: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Highly adaptable and amenable to shifting priorities
