He/She plays a crucial role in delivering the right talents to the Company in order to meet the manpower needs of the constantly evolving StraightArrow business. He/She is expected to lead her team with market trends on how and where to attract the right talents. The critical deliverable is to ensure a ready pool to be offered within the agreed turnaround time. The role is highly collaborative in ensuring that leaders are guided on how to hire.
The role is responsible for overall functions in Talent Acquisition which includes:
Recruitment Strategy Development & Implementation
Compliance to SA full recruitment life cycle
Talent Database Management (external & Internal)
Pre-employment & Onboarding
DOLE/ ISO & DPA compliance
Core Functions:
1. Lead, Manage and Hold the Team Accountable
Lead: He/she is accountable for leading the team in understanding and supporting the Company's vision as written in the V/TO as well as observing all EOS processes. He/she is a role model to the team in implementing the Company core values.
Manage: Oversees and is accountable for all activities under Talent Acquisition including Recruitment Marketing.
Accountability: Hold the team accountable, completing tasks timely, correctly and in order of priority.
2. Recruitment Strategy
Works with the Head of Talent Management to create, implement and review the Company's recruitment strategy aligned with how SA operates. See reference data.
Provides insights on best practices within and outside the Company as well as talent acquisition market trends.
Provide the needed recruitment reports to give visibility on crucial information.
Document key processes and communicate to all stakeholders.
3. Compliance to SA recruitment cycle
Process owner of the SA recruitment cycle starting from HERO Form to onboarding.
Ensure that the recruitment cycle meets DOLE & ISO requirements.
Guide his/her team on these processes.
4. Talent Database
Ensure applicant and employee files comply with DOLE, Data Privacy and ISO requirements
Work with leaders to ensure that Company's job ladder is updated
Ensure an updated library of job descriptions for all existing and anticipated positions
Work with leaders to update the Company's Talent Map every year
Proactively build applicant pipelines to meet current and future business needs
5. Screening/Hiring of Candidates
Oversee the hiring of applicants.
In the event of an increased volume of hiring, he/she will take over positions to close.
6. Pre-Employment & Onboarding
Overall in charge of pre-employment & onboarding activities.
Regularly review the orientation policy and program to adapt to the changes in the business.
Think outside the box to ensure new hires are engaged in the whole recruitment cycle to onboarding.
Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Communications, or relevant field.
At least 5 years experience in end-to-end recruitment covering sourcing, interviewing, pre-employment administration, and onboarding.
At least 1 year in an HR-related leadership role
Strong background in sourcing for diverse, technical, and senior roles, with experience in recruiting remotely
Knowledge of recruitment KPIs, and has experience creating recruitment dashboards and reports
Strong understanding or exposure to the advertising/digital marketing and outsourcing industries
Abreast with recruitment trends in the digital marketing/outsourcing space
Excellent English communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
Proactive, organized, and has good decision-making skills
Amenable to work on a dayshift/midshift schedule, Mondays to Fridays. Also open to work on shifting schedules when needed.
Has a stable internet connecton of at least 15 mbps.
