We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Tableau Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Tableau dashboards that drive insightful business decisions.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain MySQL databases with correct relations for Tableau data visualization.
Understand and implement database relationships, including primary and foreign key relationships, and creation of tables, views, etc.
Populate tables from existing databases on platforms such as DB2, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.
Utilize programming languages such as Python, PHP, SQL, and Stored Procedures in MySQL for database management and data manipulation.
Build and optimize Tableau views based on provided specifications, with connections to databases or regularly updated Excel sheets.
Job Requirements:
Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts.
Proven experience in building and managing MySQL databases and ensuring correct table relationships.
Solid knowledge of database relationships, including creation and management of tables, primary and foreign key relationships, and views.
Experience with data population from DB2, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Proficiency in Python, PHP, SQL, and Stored Procedures in MySQL.
Demonstrated ability to build and optimize Tableau views based on specifications, with direct database connections or regular Excel updates.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
