The incumbent will be responsible for compute support operations (Windows, VMware, Linux, Unix). We are looking for a seasoned IT Infrastructure Operations Manager who has expertise on Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, VMware suite & VCF in addition to Windows, Unix Server skill set. We also need a leader who will demonstrate solid credentials around driving transitions and automation initiatives in collaboration with engineering teams. Also, the Systems Management Manager must be an engaging people manager for the Intel Operations function.
Additionally, this role also demands that the incumbent brings a solid operational rigor especially around driving P1, P2 war-room situations and in customer centric activities, thus acting as the face of the team.
Individuals having solid technical credentials will be considered. Technical certifications for Windows, VMWare, Unix are preferable. Aside from the people management role, the incumbent must strike a fine balance between providing technical guidance to the team and operationally managing the team.
Team Responsibilities: Configuration, administration, support, and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Linux 6,7,8 and ESXi VMWare operating systems for servers across the US and abroad. Manning of the team pager to respond to Priority break/fix issues. Perform back-up success/failure validations using TSM, TSMVE and IBM spv4. Perform customer initiated and audit driven file restores. Research and resolve server capacity issues. Respond to and complete incident (break/fix) and service request tickets from customers. Provide problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Configure server software, hardware and peripheral devices to resolve issues. Work with the following technologies including but not limited to Wintel Server 2008/2012/2016; HP Server Hardware; Cisco UCS; HP SIM, HP OpenView, Dell, HP Server Automation.

People Management for a team of 6-8 System Analysts including performance review, training, hiring
Review and identify gaps in process, procedures and ability to correct/articulate changes
Manage stakeholder expectations
Performs intraday management analysis. Analyzes and interprets day-end performance reports of the different service area and translates information into action plans
Forward looking in terms of finding opportunities for Automation, CI/CD pipeline and DevOps
Provides input for continuous service improvements
Experience in analyzing the KPIs and trends and connect it to actionable
Troubleshoot and drive resolution of hardware/software/system problems and issues
Develop, utilize, and maintain system/process documentation and reports
Provide reliable financial forecasts to management
Be able to communicate the direct value our capabilities can provide to our business partners and customers
Implement best practices and promote innovation and drive end to end automation of services

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of professional experience in the IT industry
Hands-on Technical SME for Windows, VMWare, and Linux Domain in the past
10+ years with Wintel Server 2008/2012/2016 administration and strong knowledge of Linux based systems
At least 5+ years of experience in VMWare
At least 5+ years of experience of leadership and people management, performance review, hiring, training and coaching
Experience working in an environment that serviced/monitored a large number of servers
Experience in implementing Agile & DevOps methodologies
Prior experience in planning & supervision for the development of staff
Demonstrate strong expertise in Remote Infrastructure Management
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
Good understanding of IT Service Lifecycle and different process involved in Infrastructure Management services
Understand project management methods
Advanced communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to deliver against Service Desk KPIs and service levels
