Job Description
Systems Engineer is a professional who looks at what's going on in a system and figures out how to fix it, which sometimes means designing new solutions from scratch. In addition, they are responsible for providing advice regarding the appropriate hardware and/or software to ensure a client's computer system meets their needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Overseeing the development and installation of new networking and computing infrastructures.
Selecting the best possible solutions using knowledge of a wide range of available technologies.
Monitoring systems in the existing network to ensure there are no productivity set-backs. Installing and configuring operating systems and application software.
Implementing best practices for system security and data backups.
Anticipating potential issues or bottlenecks and identifying possible solutions. Troubleshooting and resolving all technical issues when they arise.
Communicating effectively with IT support staff to ensure the setup process runs smoothly.
Oversees the development of customized software and hardware requirements.
Assists in the coordination of various teams, testing and evaluating for the development of design and its implementation of the best output.
Plans and implements system automation as required for better efficiency
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Knowledge about Windows Server and Google Workspace
Data architecture and programming proficiency
Computer science or allied field degree
Excellent communications skills
Decision making skills, analytical and organizational skills
Keen attention to details
Network experience and certifications may be helpful
