Proven experience as a Systems Engineer
Experience in supporting infrastructure for various platforms such as Windows Server, Azure, Microsoft 365, MS HyperV, and Remote Desktop Services.
Virtualization concepts
Microsoft Windows System administration skills including knowledge in Active Directory Configuration and Management
Assist with delivery of network infrastructure for small to medium sized businesses
Provide technical phone and email support to small medium business customers across a range of diverse technologies, including but not limited to networking services and cloud services
Provide clients with timely updates, resolutions within SLAs
Troubleshooting and translating technical language into simple terms for customers
Visit customer sites when required
Use of ticketing system and maintaining documentation
Requirements
At least 7 years relevant working experience (Australian company or MSP is a plus)
Great communication skills and some customer service work experience
Experience working with Multiple clients
Knowledge and Hands-On experience with Active Directory, Azure, Office and Microsoft 365 Admin, Remote Desktop Services and virtualisation
Firewall Technologies such as Sophos, and Backup solutions such as VEEAM
Hardware / peripheral skills such as Printers, networking gear, wireless devices, laptops
