About the team
Based in Manila, is an extension of our Melbourne based Technology Services team, you will join a fast paced, fast growing and dynamic IT team which work on a large variety of operational and project related tasks and technologies. The team are responsible for financial IT systems which involve careful handling and a process driven approach to the IT environment.
What you will be doing
Technical work in Linux and/or Windows System Administration, Networking and other technical areas
Server patching and compliance related activities
Vulnerability management and remediation
Joining the rotating on call roster
Building virtual servers
Using and supporting FIS custom tools and applications in the midrange environment
Working closely with onshore and offshore teams
Controls user access and passwords
Monitoring usage and performance.
Trains personnel on system usage.
Troubleshoots server, software and hardware issues.
Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you bring

Knowledge in F5/Load Balancers, switches/routers/firewalls
Windows and Linux
Server Build and Software Installation
Patching
Maintenance and Capacity Planning
Server Hardware/Software Troubleshooting
Server Certificate Renewals
Scripting skills
Automation tools
Security Compliance and Vulnerability Management
Familiar in server endpoint controls like SIEM, Bit9, BigFix, Fireeye, QRadar and similar technologies
Knowledge in server vulnerabilities remediation
Effective analytical, problem solving, installation and maintenance skills
Ability to work independently as well as within a team
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, clients and public
