Purpose of the Job
The System Engineer, SQL Admin is part of the IT Operations team of a global IS Infrastructure Operations division serving all Grundfos companies and dedicated to night shift only to cater America Timezone.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Incidents / Critical Incidents
Participate in and coordinate projects
Ensure safe and efficient use of systems and solutions within the given area according to business requirements
Provide professional and best-in-class support for the business
Skills and Experience Required:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree
Experience working with MS SQL Server 2019 and below is a must
At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Preferably 1 to 4 years experience specializing in IT/Computer such as Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent
Has experience in Installing, designing, and maintaining database system software and implementing database security
Ability to implement AlwaysOn Availability Groups, High Availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR) options for MSSQL Server
Can Perform Database maintenance
Can Backup/Restore
Can Performance monitoring and tuning
Knowledgeable on Security and Compliance maintenance
Knowledgeable in SQL Azure and Azure IaaS
This role is a Night Shift only to cover America Timezone
We are looking for talented people with a 'can-do' attitude and strong collaboration skills to join our Grundfos family in Ortigas Center, Pasig City. You will be reporting directly to the IT Manager.
