Duties and Responsibilities:
• Providing customer-focused IT solutions and advice via email and phone
• Taking ownership of technical issues and working through with the client to find a resolution
• Recording all client communication within the ticketing system
• Ensure that communication is maintained throughout the resolution process
• Self-management of support tickets ensuring all open requests are resolved as quickly as possible
• Participating in project work such as cloud migrations, server installations, and network audits
• Development of internal documentation and knowledge base articles
Qualifications and Experience:
• At least 3 years of experience in Level 2/3 Support for over 100 endpoints
• Experience in System and Network Administration
• Experience configuring and supporting Microsoft 365 Cloud and on-premise server environments
• Professional level of written and verbal communication skills
• Quick learner and adaptable
• Attention to detail and resourcefulness
• Confident and can communicate clearly internally with the team and the Clients
• Can think outside the box and has the initiative
• Someone who is a team player
• Knowledge in Cloud-based technologies such as AWS/Azure would be an advantage
• Knowledge in virtualisation technologies is a plus
• Experience supporting business networks including routers, switches, wireless access points and printers would be nice to have
• Understanding of domain, email and web hosting configurations
• Prior experience working with a Managed Service Provider is considered desirable
• Ideally with experience working within an ITIL Framework
